This letter is to equivocally give my recommendation and support for Dr. Belinda Collins in her next step of her professional journey. 

She is by far one of the most encouraging and influential individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. Dr. Collins lead by example, through the quality of her work and by building others up. 

She has a unique ability to understand and how to connect with others. One of Dr. Collins' strengths are her ability to strategically think ahead and look for opportunities in every situation. Her forward-thinking ability has enabled her in many situations to see potential outcomes that many others were not able to see based on the organizational direction at that time. She is able to assess situations quickly, mitigate risk when necessary and move forward with confidence. 

In short, Dr. Collins is strategic in her decision-making process She has a constant focus on organizational development and success. 

It has been rare to find someone who has both the technical abilities to perform just about any task, but also have the leadership ability and foresight to lead a team or organization to success.

In the remarkable time that Belinda has served in our office, she revolutionized our financial reporting and budgeting models as well as created a positive experience with Oracle system for all our departments. 

Belinda's technical knowledge and precise skill enabled her to educate and train our senior administrators effectively and give them the know-how and empowerment to support their departments comprehensively. 

Equally important to the function of our School has been the level of professionalism and compassion Belinda has bestowed on all colleagues with whom she interacts. She is kind, thoughtful and fair as she is intelligent and competent.

My experience in working with Belinda has revealed a newly implemented transparency and efficiency in access to vital financial information with regard to reporting to donors.

Belinda is able to see deficiencies in the system or reporting protocols that elude others and helps us make corrections for our reporting to be more easily understood by the end user.  

Belinda has the ability to develop processes, the vision to see the "big picture", and the basic need for transparency. She goes above and beyond to ensure that every stakeholder understands the intricacies of their finances.

All of this financial acumen she marries to a vibrant, congenial personality. Her leadership coupled with massive amount of patience and excellent teaching skills has worked to create an atmosphere of collegiality and trust that resulted in greater teamwork within the division. 

Belinda has been able to bring the hidden skills of others through her patience, and in-person training. She is the glint of hope and gives a lift to everyone in the division.
